| Kara is a rising junior at Northwest Missouri State University where she is studying Psychology and Sociology. Kara has a love for horses as she has been around them since she was about seven years old. Kara began showing competitively when she was eight years old, competing in 4-H shows every summer. She has since mastered the English equitation and English pleasure styles. |

| Rebecca Freiday |

| Rebecca just completed her 4th year at Rutgers in New Brunswick, NJ, where she is studying Visual Arts and Equine Science. Rebecca has been horseback riding since she was nine years old. Throughout her teens, she was a member of a 4-H equine club, and learned Saddlebreds and hunt-seat equitation. In recent summers, Rebecca has worked as a horseback riding counselor at a local YMCA. When she isn't teaching or training, Rebecca schools several horses. She now shows on Rutger's equestrian team, where she has placed in every competition. |

| Kathrine Hughes |

| Kathrine is a rising sophomore at the University of North Carolina. She has been horseback riding since she was six years old. Growing up, Kathrine showed in both English and Western style. She is a member of the equestrian club at UNC, in which she volunteers at horse related events and takes lessons at a local barn. She also has experience as a counselor at a summer riding camp. Kathrine is excited to share her experiences as a camper this summer. |

| Stephanie Smith |

| Stephanie is a rising senior at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania, where she is studying secondary education and English. Stephanie fell in love with riding when she was in middle school, and since focused all her free time on horses. She has since been teaching at a therapeutic riding barn as a horse handler, leading horses in lessons for about six years. As an education major, Stephanie works in a classroom setting during the school year. She cannot wait to share her love for the outdoors and horseback riding with our girls this summer. |

| Emily Vasas |

| Emily is an Equine Studies major and Business minor at Virginia Intermont College. She has 12 years of English style horseback riding experience, specifically in competitive hunt seat, equitation, and jumpers. She competed with the National Capitol Equitation League for two years, as high point rider and team captain. Emily has also volunteered at Maryland Therapeutic Riding, and participates on her intercollegiate equestrian team. |
