Our Camp FacilitiesOur Facilities

Lake Bryn Mawr Camp's facilities are among the best in the industry.

Campers live in traditional wood-frame cabins, or "bunks." Each of our cabins has its own bathrooms, showers, sinks and storage, plus large screened windows that let in fresh breezes and lots of Pocono sunshine.

When it comes to program facilities, Bryn Mawr is second to none. Our Adventure Course has 16 low and 10 high rope challenges, including two ziplines, a giant swing and a new four sided rock climbing wall. The Adventure Annex has nearly 10 miles of hiking and biking trails.

The Apple-O-Theater is a frequent venue for evening activities and special events, from the annual Miss Firecracker pageant to Friday night talent shows, drama presentations and late-night movies for our senior campers.

The Sarah Hoffman Art Center is home to our arts and crafts and ceramics programs. This bright, airy building has room for several large groups of campers to work on different projects at the same time. Our Cooking Studio is the perfect place for campers to pick up some new skills and enjoy tasty treats!

Our campers condition and compete on seven all-grass soccer pitches (including regulation-size Wembley Field), four grass Volleyball Courts and a professional putting green. Campers play Tennis on 11 full-size fast-dry courts, with one set of courts dedicated to advanced Tennis Plus instruction and nine lit for night play. We also have 6 Quick Start Tennis courts designed to help girls 10 and under learn and play the game: smaller court size, smaller racquets, lower pressure balls (easier to control) and smaller height of the nets. Our softball Field of Dreams is a top-level playing surface, graded with the same dirt they use at Yankee Stadium!

Our two Swimming pools are kept right at 86 degrees—warm enough for an early-morning workout and perfect to cool off in when afternoon temperatures climb! Our private Lake is the perfect size for boating, waterskiing and recreational swimming.

The Equestrian Center is conveniently located on our main campus, and includes two arenas, 19 stalls, and acres of trails. The upper arena is the perfect size for a private lesson or for working with beginner riders on a lunge line. The main arena, at 160x80, is large enough to work a dressage test or to jump a full course.

Bryn Mawr Farms is a 50 acre, upscale riding facility located down the road from LBMC’s main campus. This farm includes three outdoor arenas (each larger than 150x125) as well as a 10,000 square foot indoor arena with a heated/air conditioned viewing room. The property also has over 30 stalls, winding trails, and several fields equipped with cross-country jumps.

The Widman Gym (named for beloved Director of Gymnastics Bill Widman) is equipped with a TumblTrak, foam training and competition spring floors, two sets of uneven bars and one single rail, a vaulting table and adjustable balance beams.

The Fitness Center is equipped with free weights, steps, balance balls, weighted medicine balls and 5 Elliptical machines and a cycling studio for spinning. The Dance Center has hard wood floors, surround sound, ballet bars, mirrored walls, and video players.

The physical well being of our campers and staff is our top priority. The Health Center is an air-conditioned facility staffed with 5 nurses and a doctor, all of whom provide lots of TLC to the community.
