Gretchen Guthrie Cooking
Gretchen completed her freshman year at the University of Indianapolis where she is majoring in nursing. Gretchen loved being a camper at a local camp in Illinois, and cannot wait to share her love for cooking with our campers. She often competes in cooking fairs.
 
Jillian Birnbaum Crafts
Jillian completed her freshman year at Tulane University. During the year, she volunteers at an inner city school in New Orleans. Also, Jillian has worked as a counselor at Camp Sagemont where she assisted in the cooking, arts and crafts, and dance programs. She is excited about joining our staff and working in our crafts program this summer.
 
Lindsey Diffley Crafts
Lindsey is entering her 3rd year at Pace University in New York City. She is the president of Residence Hall Association (RHA), was captain of her High School basketball team, and was senior class president. Her most recent camp experience was spending two years as the Head of an Arts and Crafts program.
 
Monique Garvey Crafts
Monique just completed her freshman year at Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania and is majoring in marine biology. For the last two summers, she has worked at Harmony Heart Camp in their arts and crafts program.
 
Sarah Moss Ceramics
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Sarah moved to Westport, Connecticut in middle school. Now attending the University of Massachusetts, she is working on her BFA Art Major with a Minor in Anthropology and Art History. She has taken over 11 semesters worth of drawing classes between college and High school. Sarah volunteered at a YMCA swim camp and currently is the team captain for her co-ed Fraternity’s Relay for Life, a relay which promotes awareness and hope for Cancer survivors. This is her 2nd summer at Bryn Mawr.
 
Kiersten Marshall Glass
Kiersten recently completed her junior year at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts focusing her studies on glass. She works as an art teacher’s assistant at William and Mary Summer Camp for middle school children and interns for her art history professor during the academic year. She is passionate about sharing her love for art with children of all ages.
 
Sylvia Mejias-Ortiz Jewelry
Sylvia recently graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Rio, Pierdas Campus.
 
Thania Padilla Dance
Thania is a student at the University of Puerto Rico studying theater. She has been dancing in programs that perform at public venues across the country. Besides studying ballet and folklore, Thania has experience teaching dance groups to students.
 
Marta Watson Dance
Marta is going to be a sophomore at Otterbein College in Ohio, and will be joining us for her seventh summer. After being a camper for many summers, Marta is excited to be joining many of her family members on our staff. She has been dancing for over 10 years, and is currently pursuing a minor in Ballet. Marta is so excited to share her love for Bryn Mawr with our campers in the Dance program.
 
Erin Koolman Drama
Erin, who recently completed her sophomore year at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, is majoring in music education and vocal performance. She has performed in high school and college productions. Erin also has a lot of experience joining choirs that travel and sing in countries across the world.
 
Lindsay Roper Drama
Lindsay was in the drama club all through High School. She is a Lock Haven University student who has taken many drama courses on the Undergraduate level. Lindsay attended overnight camp for six summers in her youth and is studying to be a Secondary English Education with the hopes of becoming a teacher. This is her 2nd summer at Bryn Mawr.
 
Jacki Rose Drama
Jackie is going to be a senior at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she is studying music education. Jacki has eight years of musical theater experience and over eight years of vocal training. She was a member of her high school marching band team, and has since interned in the music and theater programs at Wayne Highlands Middle School in PA. She is excited to share her experience in our drama program this summer.
 
Elizabeth Shocklee Drama/Music
Elizabeth will return to the LBMC staff this summer from her home in Missouri, where she is a student of Philosophy, Religion, and Education at Truman State University. She has trained in music for more than 10 years, participating in piano competitions and winning awards for her performances. She has taught piano to children of all ages. Elizabeth enjoys participating in theatrical productions. This is her 2nd summer at Bryn Mawr.
